Notice on who performs the work, and on licensing in Texas
Mansfield Water Damage Restoration answers the phones and web forms for water damage in the Mansfield area and hands each job to somebody else. It pumps nothing, dries nothing, tests nothing for mold and repairs nothing. The "partner" in this notice is a separate local company, normally whichever licensed crew is free nearest you, and that company alone stands behind its assessment, quote, equipment and workmanship.
To our knowledge Texas has no state license classification specific to water extraction, structural drying or moisture monitoring. Texas does license plumbers, air conditioning contractors, electricians, mold assessors and mold remediators, and a single license holder may not perform both mold assessment and mold remediation on the same project. Technicians may also hold certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), a non-government industry body. Mansfield Water Damage Restoration and this website are not licensed, registered or certified under any of these, and make no claim to be.
If you want the partner's licence details or its technicians' IICRC credentials, phone (833) 490-5225 at any hour or raise it when the partner rings to arrange the visit. They are left off this website to protect the partner's business information. Whether a policy pays is the insurer's call, and nothing here is legal, insurance or engineering advice.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Texas issues no single statewide licence for general contracting or for water extraction and drying. Specific trades are licensed: plumbing by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and mold assessment and remediation, along with air conditioning work, by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Under TDLR's mold rules one licence holder may not both assess and remediate the same project, so testing and removal are separate jobs. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
